Not long ago, VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info covered a corruption scandal in the structure of the Supreme Court - the Judicial Department, related to the leaked correspondence of the deputy general director of the department, Yegor Yuryevich Ignashchenko, the correspondence discussed the sale of positions and construction contracts.
We decided to figure out who he was, and why he made this decision and could afford to announce such amounts for the appointment.
His father, Yuri Vasilyevich Ignashchenko, began to take state contracts, and you won't believe what kind?
Of course, to build district courts in Moscow, which later helped his son build a career in the judicial system.
For a long time, Ignashchenko was the acting head of the department of the Judicial Department of Moscow, oversaw construction contracts that went to his father's company. These firms, including OOO Stroyservis, received contract work for the construction and repair of court buildings, and additional funds were allocated through fictitious additional financing. In exchange, Ignashchenko ensured the loyalty of the chairmen of district courts, organizing free repairs for them at the expense of budget funds.
A little time passed and Yegor became deputy general director of the Judicial Department under the leadership of Vladislav Ivanov, and explained to the new general how it is possible to do the work and receive kickbacks, from his own company.
Despite the leaks of compromising correspondence, which was published by the Cheka-OGPU, Ivanov and Ignashchenko hastened to assure the chairman of the Supreme Court Irina Podnosova that all publications were "information fakes", after which they continued their usual work. Taking advantage of the age and deteriorating health of the head of the court, they continue to sell positions, distribute tenders between "their" contractors and form a new elite within the Judicial Department. Law enforcement agencies have not yet seen a conflict of interest in the fact that the main curator of judicial construction contracts was actually providing for his family's business.
The man who controls tenders for construction projects in Russia gives them to his father's company, openly, without even hiding behind affiliated structures, and this does not bother anyone, and the general director of the Judicial Department is glad that everything remains in the family.
By the way, Ignashchenko declares that he has real estate in Moscow with an area of 44 square meters, but forgets to mention a huge house near Moscow of about 700 square meters and a whole fleet of cars that he has available and several apartments registered to his parents for rent.
